Spring Career Fair
Mason's Spring Career Fair will be hosted virtually Feb. 17鈥18 from noon to 4 p.m.
This campus-wide fair will include organizations offering internships and full-time jobs. Mason students and alumni are welcome to attend.
Participants will engage in group and individual video/text chat with employers. Students are encouraged to research employers in advance.
Registration is required and opens on Wednesday, Feb. 10. The deadline to sign up is Wednesday, Feb. 17, at noon.

Mason Shuttle On-Demand: New Pilot Program
Mason Shuttles is offering an on-demand shuttle service on and around the Fairfax Campus. This is a shared ride service with designated pick-up and drop-off locations on the Fairfax Campus and at nearby locations off-campus.
Service hours are Monday鈥揊riday from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Saturday/Sunday from 5 to 11 p.m.听
Parking and Transportation hopes Mason students, faculty, and staff will try out this new service. .

Virtual Off-Campus Housing Fair
Contemporary Student Services will host a virtual off-campus housing fair on Feb. 3 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Faculty and staff should encourage students searching for off-campus housing to attend the event. The virtual event will be hosted at during the scheduled time frame.

Mason Finance Gateway
The new Mason Finance Gateway is scheduled to go live in February and will replace the current Travel Request System (TRS) and most manual reimbursement forms (i.e., Food and Beverage reimbursement, Payment Requests for reimbursement).
Employees are required to complete the Mason Finance Gateway Navigation training prior to receiving access. This 30-minute online training provides an understanding of how to navigate the new system.
To access the training, go to and log in with your NetID and password. Locate the training under the 鈥淩equired Training鈥 tab. Users must complete this training before Feb. 15. Refer to the for assistance.

George Mason Toastmasters Continue to Zoom
Following guidance from Toastmasters International, George Mason Toastmasters have made the most of the current situation and continue to practice speaking and leadership skills while developing new skills using a virtual format.

Guaranteed Ride Home
If you bike, carpool, vanpool, use mass transit (e.g. bus, metro) or walk to work at least two times per week, you always have a ride backup with Guaranteed Ride Home (GRH). 聽
Sponsored by the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments (COG), GRH is free to sign up and free to use.
Once you register, you can use GRH up to four times per year. If a qualifying emergency arises, Commuter Connections will arrange transportation for you (e.g. taxi, car rental, transit).听
