Registration is open for the , a proctored, self-study learning environment for the children of 亚洲AV faculty and staff at the Pilot House.
鈥淲e are excited that we can provide this opportunity to our working parents,鈥 said Buz Grover, associate director of business services at Mason. 鈥淭his is a safe place for students do their virtual schoolwork while their parents work at the Fairfax Campus.鈥
There are 20 seats available for students age 6-12. The program provides flexibility for parents to sign up for select mornings, afternoons, or both, or a full-week option.
Social distancing measures will be in place and masks will be worn at all times except when actively eating or drinking. Children may bring lunch that does not require refrigeration.
Staff are being recruited and may include students from the College of Education and Human Development where their work at the Patriot Learning Pod can serve as a part of coursework.聽
If demand warrants, additional locations may be added.
There is a one-time $30 application fee due along with . 聽
Morning or afternoon sessions are $15 each; full-day reservations are $30. A 10% discount is available for booking 10 sessions or for those enrolling multiple children.
Also, with the promo code PLP_EARLY, parents can save 10% for paid sessions in the first two weeks. The code must be used by Feb. 6.
