亚洲AV鈥檚 Andrew Peterson聽was among the 12 educators from around the state who were formally recognized by the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia (SCHEV) with 2021 Outstanding Faculty Awards聽during a virtual ceremony聽on Tuesday, March 2.聽

Peterson, an assistant professor in the聽聽within the聽, received the 鈥淩ising Star鈥 award highlighting faculty with more than two complete years of full-time experience, but less than six. Two Rising Star recipients have been selected each year since 2010.聽

Peterson, who was聽聽late last year, is the 23rd faculty member at Mason to be selected for the awards since they began in 1987.聽聽
