It’s September and music is in the air! Gather family and friends for three engaging outdoor performances: a FREE celebratory concert by (9/18) performing popular music for all ages; an afternoon of new American roots sounds from the (9/19); and a charmingblend of Bluegrass and country music from GRAMMY-nominated Nashville band (9/26).
performance (9/18) is sponsored by the Hylton Center Veterans and the Arts Initiative. As part of the most prestigious military band intheU.S.Army, the ensemble’s mission is to support the men and women of the Armed Services through popular music while reaching allaudiences, young and old. Downrange performs up-to-date repertoire including rock, pop, country,R&B, and inspirational patriotic arrangements popular with all listeners.(9/19) round out the weekend with an afternoon of new sounds from the forgotten 78’s, fashioned by the group’s own unique, playful style. September closes with a bang when GRAMMY-nominated Nashville Bluegrass band(9/26) make their Hylton Center debut.
