Mason Student Services Center expands to Mason Square

Body

亚洲AV鈥檚 Division of Enrollment Management has expanded in-person service through the Mason Student Services Center to Mason Square (formerly the Arlington Campus).

The (MSSC) is the first point of contact for student questions related to registration and enrollment, admissions, billing and payments, and financial aid.

The center was established as part of the Student Experience Redesign and began services on the Fairfax Campus in late 2019, before adding a virtual service option in 2020 in response to the pandemic.听 Since then, the MSSC has helped resolve almost half a million student issues and concerns.

Visitors can receive help in-person or virtually from a team of cross-trained generalists who can help resolve most student services issues.

Students, family members, and the greater Mason community benefit from the convenience of having their needs addressed in a 鈥渙ne-stop" location.

鈥淭he expansion of MSSC in-person services to Mason Square is particularly exciting because we are not only offering students increased access to real-time solutions and resources, but also offering those services beyond the traditional 9-to-5 workday,鈥 said Kim Shumadine, director of the center.

Services at Mason Square will be offered 聽in Van Metre Hall, Tuesday-Thursday, 3:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m.

The expanded service comes as construction of Fuse at Mason Square is underway. Fuse will be a new, 345,000-square-foot hub for digital innovation that聽 will promote the exchange of new ideas and the transfer of technology between Mason鈥檚 researchers and students and industry partners to accelerate the development of digital innovation.

Those seeking assistance can also visit the MSSC on the Fairfax Campus in SUB I, Monday-Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.), or online at .听
