The committee is tasked to conduct a consensus study to examine promising mechanisms and levers for innovations that can be implemented in the health care system to improve the health and well-being of children and youth.
鈥淚mproving health for children and youth is a priority for the country and an important investment in our future, and I鈥檓 delighted to be nominated to this committee. The committee is tasked with creating recommendations that reflect the complex nature of children鈥檚 health care. Children can receive care in many places鈥揳t a pediatrician鈥檚 office, in school, at home, and possibly in specialty health care settings, hospitals, or even foster care.鈥
