Mason’s men’s and women’s basketball teams capped off Homecoming 2024 with big wins at EagleBank Arena Saturday and Sunday.

³§±ð²Ô¾±´Ç°ùÌýDarius MaddoxÌýled the Patriots with a career-best 24 points on 8-of-13 shooting and made 4-of-6 3-pointers.

And graduate forwardÌýAmari KellyÌýhad 17 points (7-10 FG) and notched game highs in rebounds (9) and blocks (4).

Mason celebrated the 50th anniversary of its women’s’ basketball team with more than 40 team alumni on Sunday.

And the women’s team beat the VCU Rams 60-47 to move to 7-1 in Atlantic 10 play and 16-3 overall, withÌýsophomoreÌýZahirah WaltonÌýbeing named the Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week for the fourth time this season and for the third-straight week.Ìý
