Biography

Alex Brodsky joined 亚洲AV in 1993. Brodsky's current research interests include Decision Support, Guidance, and Optimization (DSGO) systems; and DSGO applications, including energy, power, manufacturing, sustainability, and supply chain. He has published over 120 refereed papers, including six Best Paper Awards. For his research work related to DSGO systems, Brodsky received a National Science Foundation (NSF) CAREER Award, NSF Research Initiation Award, and funding from the Office of Naval Research (ONR), National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), and Dominion Virginia Power.

His roles include Conference Co-chair of the 21st International Conference on Enterprise Information Systems (ICEIS-2019); keynote speaker at ICEIS-2017; General Chair of the IEEE International Conference on Tools with Artificial Intelligence (ICTAI-2017); keynote speaker at ICTAI-2016; Program Chair of ICTAI-2013; Program Co-chair of the IEEE ICDE workshop on Data-Driven Decision Guidance and Support Systems (DGSS 2012, and DGSS 2013); a general vice co-chair of IEEE ICDE 2012; and Conference Chair of the International Conference on Principles and Practice of Constraint Programming (CP99).

Research

2012 - 2015: Process Analytics Language (PAL) for Sustainable Manufacturing: Modeling, Analysis and Decision Optimization. Funded by the National Institute of Standards and Technology.

2013 - 2014: Decision Guidance Approach to Power Optimization and Management. Funded by Dominion Resources Inc.
