Biography
Daigo Shishika is an assistant professor in the Department of MechanicalÌýEngineering at ÑÇÖÞAV. He obtained his bachelor's degreeÌýfrom the University of Tokyo, Japan, and his master'sÌýand PhDÌýfrom the University of Maryland, College Park, all in AerospaceÌýEngineering. Before joining ÑÇÖÞAV, ShishikaÌýwas a postdoctoralÌýresearcher in the GRASP Laboratory at the University of Pennsylvania. His researchÌýinterest is in the general area of autonomy, dynamics andÌýcontrols, and robotics.ÌýMore specifically, his past work has focused on multi-agent systems includingÌýanimal groups and swarms of autonomous vehicles. He is currently studyingÌýhow to cooperatively control large teams of robots in various adversarial environments.
