Biography

Noah Jacobson serves as an adjunct professor of politics and government in the Schar School of Policy and Government. His focus is on the United States Congress and the legislative process, and he teaches graduate level courses including Congress and Legislating and Advocacy and Lobbying.

Jacobson is an assistant vice president, federal relations for AT&T. In this role, he focuses on representing AT&T鈥檚 legislative interests before the federal government on matters relating to taxes, trade, and other corporate issues.

Previously, Jacobson worked on Capitol Hill for nearly a decade.聽As the legislative director and counsel for Ways and Means Committee member Congressman Erik Paulsen, he primarily focused on economic issues including taxes and financial services.聽Jacobson also handled Congressman Paulsen鈥檚 Joint Economic Committee and Financial Services Committee assignments. Prior to that, he worked for Congressman Jim Ramstad.

He earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan and his law degree from American University College of Law.
