Shá Norman (They/She) joins ����AV with over ten years of experience in program administration in education non-profits and higher education institutions. 

The LIVE Center (or the Center for Live Interactive Virtual Education) within ����AV’s College of Visual and Performing Arts has been approved for a $10,000 Grants for Arts Projects award from the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA). This funding will support future programming from this groundbreaking center at Mason: the LIVE Center Mentoring Series.

Mason alum Alexander Hammett recently received Miami Indie Films’ Best Director Award for directing “Tale of Tarot,” a film written by fellow Mason alum Aaliyah-Janay Williams.

The Young Alumni Commissioning Project, a grant program for recent graduates, announced the fourth round of requests for proposals from interested alumni. The funds granted to recipients will fund new original works of art in a variety of mediums.

International graffiti artist TakerOne is working on a mural, “Fauna of Belmont Bay,” at Mason’s Potomac Science Center in Woodbridge, Virginia.
