If Bryan Vega, a graduate student in ����AV’s College of Engineering and Computing, has learned anything from his lengthy career, it’s that he can never count himself out.

Two-time Mason alum Jamie VanValkenburg directed the Oakton High School Marching Band to victory in the inaugural Metallica marching band competition “For Whom the Band Tolls!”

Doug McKenna is university registrar at ����AV. Many things change over the years at a college or university, but the university registrar serves as the guardian of something permanent. “I’m responsible for maintaining the student record in perpetuity,” said McKenna.
