Mason senior Eva Noroski spent a month assisting alumna and Elephant Trails keeper Ashley Fortner at the National Zoo, researching elephant sleep patterns.

U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris visited ����AV’s Fairfax Campus on Tuesday to speak to students on the importance of voting, in commemoration of National Voter Registration Day.

Before appearing to hundreds of students gathered on Wilkins Plaza, the vice president spoke to Assistant Professor Samuel Frye’s integrative studies class, “Community, Culture and Change,” as a surprise guest speaker.

While online meetings often feel confining, for ����AV students in INTS 304 Social Movements and Community Activism, the virtual environment actually opened doors for them.

����AV’s Institute for a Sustainable Earth (ISE) has named its first cohort of ISE Faculty Fellows.

The Anti-Racism and Inclusive Excellence Task Force will be led by Wendi Manuel-Scott, Associate Professor (CHSS), and Shernita Parker, Assistant Vice President for Human Resources.
