Mason announced a $3 million gift to its Center for Global Islamic Studies, which will be renamed for the late Islamic scholar Abdul Hamid AbuSulayman in recognition of the donation.

During the Season of Giving from October 15 to December 15, 12 Mason units will designate a 24-hour period as a one-day fundraising event.
