The new Virginia Climate Center (VCC) at Mason is leading research on tackling climate-related challenges, such as energy, vector-borne illnesses, and extreme weather and flooding in Northern Virginia and throughout the commonwealth.

4-VA@Mason, part of a statewide collective of higher education institutions, recently announced the Collaborative Research Awards for the 2023-2024 academic year with 12 projects spearheaded by Mason faculty and eight with Mason faculty acting as co-PIs.

Chris DiTeresi was named associate vice president for research integrity and assurance at ÑÇÖÞAV, where he provides leadership and strategic direction for the Office of Research Integrity and Assurance and its six major compliance programs.

Darren Troxler has joined the Office of the Provost as the Executive Director of External Transfer Articulation and Chief Transfer Officer. He previously served as the Associate Dean of Admissions and Strategic Initiatives, Assistant Dean of Admissions, and Director of Admissions Operations in the Division of Enrollment Management supporting the university’s transfer enrollment.
